According to Deadline, Ahna O'Reilly, last seen in FRUITVALE STATION, has signed on to star in The CW's upcoming drama series IDENTITY, from Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci.

The project is inspired by the Israeli project Dance of the Hours by Orna Raiz, and features a script by Corinne Brinkerhoff.

IDENTITY follows a young woman (O'Reilly) on the transplant list who discovers she is related to a powerful family whose son is her organ match. Unfortunately, they are also involved with a domestic terrorist plot, and the girl finds herself caught between their life-saving donation and the moral implications of taking it.

O'Reilly's other film credits include THE HELP, JOBS, FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, CBGB, AS I LAY DYING, and more.

At this time, The CW has also ordered pilots iZOMBIE from VERONICA MARS' Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero, and JANE THE VIRGIN.

iZOMBIE is based on Chris Roberson and Michael Allred's characters and story from the original comic series. It follows a med student who turns into a zombie and uses her job at the coroner's office to eat brains. The catch: Each brain she eats allows her to absorb the corpse's memories, which makes her invaluable to the medical examiner in helping to solve homicide cases.

JANE THE VIRGIN, written by Jennie Snyder Urman, centers on a good, religious girl who is accidentally artificially inseminated.
