On Monday December 12th, the music world once again united for the star-studded BBC MUSIC AWARDS which this year took place at the ExCeL London.

Broadcast on BBC One and bbc.co.uk/musicawards with programming on Radio 1 and Radio 2, hosted by Fearne Cotton and Claudia Winkleman the star-studded event celebrated the best in popular music from the last 12 months with spectacular performances and surprising collaborations from some of the biggest names in the business.

Awards on the night included BBC Music Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, the BBC Music Introducing Artist of the Year and two new awards celebrating the best of live and recorded music - BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge Performance of the Year and BBC Radio 2 Album of the Year.
