In an interview with E! News, Adam Lambert revealed that his future on Glee is, 'all up in the air'. The American Idol alum joined the cast of the FOX musical dramedy as part of the show's New York City storyline this season, portraying Elliot 'Starchild' Gilbert.

"I'm having a good time popping in here and there because I have a lot of other stuff in the mix right now," explained the 'Whataya Want From Me,' singer.

Despite the show's grueling production schedule, Lambert affirmed that he has enjoyed his time on the show. "I've been learning a lot," he commented. "I hope that people love what we're doing," then joked, "The initiation is like a 14-hour day on set. That's the haze."

Recently it was announced that Dianna Agron, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, Kristin Chenoweth and Harry Shum Jr will return to Glee to celebrate its 100th episode.

About GLEE:

Glee is a musical comedy about a group of ambitious and talented kids who escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a Glee club, where they find strength, acceptance and, ultimately, their voice. Last year's graduates and aspiring singers, RACHEL BERRY (Lea Michelle) and KURT HUMMEL (Chris Colfer), packed their bags for New York and enrolled at a prestigious performing arts school, NYADA, where they made new friends and learned the cruel realities of college. These naïve freshmen moved into a Brooklyn loft, signed up for internships, auditioned for Broadway shows and gained a roommate when SANTANA LOPEZ (Naya Rivera) moved to the Big Apple.

Since its debut, Glee has become a bona fide cultural phenomenon, received prestigious honors, including a Golden Globe Award and a Peabody Award, and singlehandedly made Glee clubs cool again. The series boasts critical acclaim, a die-hard fan base, two Grammy Award nominations, two platinum and five gold albums, more than 43 million songs and more than 13 million albums sold worldwide, two sold-out concert tours, a 3-D movie and four Emmy Awards and three Golden Globes, including the award for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical.

GLEE has attracted A-list guest stars, from Gwyneth Paltrow to Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker. This season, Demi Lovato (THE X FACTOR) guest-stars as "Dani," a New York-based struggling artist and friend of Rachel and Santana's.
