Adam Brody, Demi Moore and Eric Roberts have joined Amanda Seyfried and Peter Sarsgaard for LOVELACE.
Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (“HOWL,” “The Celluloid Closet”) will direct, from an original screenplay by Andy Bellin (“Trust”). A Millennium Films Production, LOVELACE is produced by Heidi Jo Markel for Electric Pictures, Laura Rister and Jason Weinberg for Untitled Entertainment, and Jim Young for Animus Films, with executive producers Boaz Davidson, Danny Dimbort, Mark Gill, W. Merritt Johnson, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and John Thompson for Nu Image/Millennium Films. The film is being made with the cooperation of the estate of Linda Lovelace.
From the birth of the sexual revolution to the height of the feminist movement, LOVELACE depicts the life of Linda Boreman who as ‘Linda Lovelace’ became the first erotic superstar.
Seyfried will play the title role, with Sarsgaard portraying Lovelace’s husband, Chuck Traynor. Adam Brody will be seen as Deep Throat co-star Harry Reems; Demi Moore will play author and activist Gloria Steinem; and Eric Roberts will be lie detector expert Nat Laurendi. They join recently announced cast members Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple.
Moore recently appeared in Margin Call. Brody will be seen in the upcoming The Oranges. Roberts was recently seen in The Expendables.
The production began shooting on location in Los Angeles in late December.
