Actor and Presenter Hector Sandarti Joins Telemundo's Award Winning Morning Show UN NUEVO DIA

Renowned actor and TV personality, Hector Sandarti, joins Telemundo's "Un Nuevo Día" as co-host of the award-winning morning show, beginning this Friday, June 29 at 7am/6c. Sandarti will join Marco Antonio Regil, Rashel Diaz, Adamari LOPEZ and Zuleyka Rivera, to bring viewers from coast to coast the latest in entertainment featuring music stars, special guests, exclusives and surprises. He comes to "Un Nuevo Día" at a special time as the show airs seven days a week from Russia with all the updates, news and passion from the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™, in this unprecedented coverage where the show has already increased its respective Monday-Sunday viewership by 45% among P18-49.

Born in Guatemala, Héctor Sandarti is one of the most versatile figures in Spanish-language television. He began his career as a singer and won Colombia's Festival de la Canción (Music Festival). Sandarti has been involved in many successful productions in Mexico, including the Spanish-language version of "Deal or No Deal," known as "Vas or No Vas," and the U.S. Hispanic version that aired on Telemundo. Additionally, he has served as co-host of "Vida TV," the morning program "Hoy," "Parodiando," "El Juego de las Estrellas," "El Privilegio de Mandar" and the hit telenovela "Hasta que el dinero nos separe," among others.

Winner of three national Emmy Awards, Telemundo's "Un Nuevo Día," hosted by Marco Antonio Regil, Rashel Díaz, Adamari López, Héctor Sandarti and Zuleyka Rivera, airs Monday through Friday at 7-10am/6-9 CT. Throughout the three-hour show, viewers will get news updates with Paulina Sodi, cooking recipes with Chef James, social media trends with Erika Csiszer, horoscope with Mario Vanucci, film and television segments with Francisco Caceres and weather with Janice Bencosme.
