The Saint Pio Foundation is greatly honored to announce that acclaimed American actor and singer Robert Davi has agreed to become a Goodwill Ambassador of the Saint Pio Foundation.
Classically trained as a singer, Davi launched his professional singing career in 2011. His first album, Davis Sings Sinatra -- On The Road To Romance, hit #6 on the Billboard jazz charts. Praised for his voice and vocal interpretations, Davi debuted as a headliner at The Venetian, in Las Vegas, Nevada, six months after the record was released.
"I am very grateful that actor and singer Robert Davi has accepted our invitation to become a Goodwill Ambassador of the Saint Pio Foundation. Undoubtedly, his own experience of being miraculously healed by Padre Pio will inspire many who need healing from this most beloved saint," said President and CEO M° Luciano Lamonarca.
"Hi, I am Robert Davi, and I want to ask you to lend your support to the Saint Pio Foundation. When I was a young man, I was facing death in a hospital when my mom and friends of my family got in touch with Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo, in Foggia, and I received then what I believe, and I think even the doctor said, to be a miracle. So through my life, he has been a guide, a light, and I hope he can do the same for all of you out there. The work that he has done for the poor.... what the hospital has done for the poor... this is for me one of the miracles of Saint Pio. So, please, join us in support of the Saint Pio Foundation."
