Academy Determines Producing Credits for THE WOLF OF WALL STREET

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has determined the individual nominees for "The Wolf of Wall Street" in the Best Picture category for the Oscars. They are producers Martin Scorsese, Leonardo DiCaprio, Joey McFarland and Emma Tillinger Koskoff.

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2013 will be presented on Oscar Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars, produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

The movie boasts an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, P.J. Byrne and Ethan Suplee. It will now face tough competition on the holiday including The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, 47 Ronin, Grudge Match and the Justin Bieber documentary Believe.

WOLF OF WALL STREET tells the story of a New York stockbroker, played by DiCaprio, who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, the corporate banking world and mob infiltration.

Directed by Scorsese, the film is based on the memoir of the same name by Jordan Belfort. The screenplay was written by Terence Winter. The Wolf of Wall Street will make a fifth collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio.
