DANCE MOMS star Abby Lee Miller turned to Instagram Sunday evening to announce that she is quitting the long-running Lifetime reality series, blaming the show's producers for her decision.
"I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS," ranted Miller in the post. "FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING - TO NO AVAIL!" Read the post in full below:
Since October of 2015, Miller has been involved in legal issues, including a charge in which Miller was indicted on 20 counts of fraud after failing to claim $755,000 in income from the show when she filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. In addition, she has been accused of secretly bringing $120,000 in Australian currency into the U.S. In June of 2016 she pleaded guilty to the charges, and is currently facing a possible jail sentence of 30 months.Source: NY Daily News
