In an interview this week with BuzzSugar, BREAKING BAD star Aaron Paul opened up about the final eight episodes of AMC's hit show - assuring fans they won't be disappointed.

"You guys are gonna s--- your pants," he said.

But going into the final season, Paul wasn't as eager for Walter White and Jesse Pinkman's story to end.

"Before I read the final eight episodes, the final eight hours of the show, I was thinking to myself, this is so tragic," Paul continued. "I can't believe this show is ending. I didn't want it to end, but after knowing how the final eight hours play out, I couldn't be happier with the way that it ended."

Earling this month, series creator and executive producer Vince Gilligan provided a few details himself, saying, "Walt has been the world's greatest liar, and I think the person he lies most capably to is himself. So in these final eight episodes, perhaps the lies will cease to find traction and the scales will start to fall away from Walt's eyes. And when that happens, will Walt really begin to realize who he is? That's a question that we asked ourselves a lot in the writers' room this year."

Walter will also come against a host of new enemies as the show approaches its finale. "There will be antagonistic relationships aplenty," reveals Gilligan, adding: "Walt's got plenty of fight left in him. And he's got plenty of forces to fight. You met some of them. Others you haven't."

The series will begin to wrap up its run on August 11th. Check out the poster below!

Created and produced by Gilligan, "Breaking Bad" stars Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico who, after learning that he's dying of lung cancer, begins to secretly cook crystal meth as a means of providing for his family.
