AXS TV to Present Cirque Du Soleil's ONE NIGHT FOR ONE DROP Spectacular, 8/19

AXS TV is proud to premiere the third annual One Night for ONE DROP spectacular, an exclusive event presented by world-renowned entertainment company Cirque du Soleil, on Wednesday, August 19, at 8pE. This unique and exclusive performance in honor of ONE DROP, a non-profit organization established by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté, is presented for one night only in Las Vegas, crafts an incredible visual experience that captivates the imagination, while raising awareness and funds for global water issues. All proceeds benefit ONE DROP's global initiatives that address the ongoing crisis of safe water necessary for people around the world.

Filmed live at The Beatles™ LOVE™ Theatre in the Mirage Hotel & Casino on Friday, March 20, the completely original ONE DROP event was created and produced by noted choreographer Mukhtar O.S. Mukhtar, and boasts over 100 Cirque du Soleil performers from various resident shows.

"To be able to share this once-in-a-lifetime performance with a larger audience is a dream come true, not just for me, but for the hundreds of Cirque volunteers that offered their talents and support to raise awareness for critical water issues around the world during this special night."

The special event was a resounding success for ONE DROP, raising over six million dollars during an unforgettable night that also saw the organization honored with the United Nations' 'Water For Life' Best Practices Award.

Also on hand for the night's festivities is a wide variety of special guests, performers, and spectators including GRAMMY®-winning R&B crooner John Legend; as well as Guy Laliberté; model Camila Alves; pop band Plain White T's; "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Kyle Richards and Camille Grammar; "So You Think You Can Dance?" judge Nigel Lythgoe; UFC icon Forrest Griffin; actress Jane Seymour; Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman; celebrity chef Susan Feniger; Emmy®-winning choreographer Anita Mann; and many more.
