The Feb. 1 preview of "A.P. Bio" has scored the third-biggest three-day digital lift for an NBC premiere or preview to date.
In three-day projected adult 18-49 ratings, the "A.P. Bio" debut grew by +0.41 rating points on non-linear platforms, placing it behind only "Will & Grace" (+0.57 with its Sept. 28, 2017 premiere) and "This is Us" (+0.43 for its Sept.20, 2016 launch) among NBC series premieres or previews going back through the 2015-16 season.
That three-day digital increase lifted "A.P. Bio" by +48%, from Thursday's 0.85 "live plus same day" Nielsen rating to a 1.26. That's the biggest three-day percentage lift for an NBC series debut to date, in measurements that cover the last three seasons.
"A.P. Bio" also grew by +0.32 of a point via linear time-shifting, for a combined three-day rating that includes linear and digital of a 1.58, up +86% versus the show's 0.85 rating in "live plus same day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
"A.P. Bio" is NBC's first series to launch with a bigger digital three-day lift (+0.41) than linear three-day lift(+0.32).
