The Hollywood Reporter writes that Jamie Foxx and Benicio Del Toro will lead Harmony Korine's upcoming Southern gangster drama THE TRAP.

THE TRAP, written and directed by Korine, is described as: "...a crime thriller centering on two childhood friends now in their mid-to-late 30s -- one of whom is very successful and the other has spent the majority of his adult life in jail. On the eve of a big recognition for the successful man, the other is released from jail and determined to get even."
Korine is known for his work on SPRING BREAKERS, KIDS and TRASH HUMPERS.
Foxx's upcoming projects include HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, ANNIE remake, and MEAN BUSINESS ON NORTH GANSON STREET. He recently starred in A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 and Django Unchained.
Del Toro recently appeared in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, ESCOBAR: PARADISE LOST and INHERENT VICE, and has A PERFECT DAY, THE LITTLE PRINCE and more in the queue.
