NBC has won the week of July 20-26 in adults 18-49, with "America's Got Talent" and "American Ninja Warrior" ranking #1 and #2 among primetime telecasts on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research. For the week, NBC averaged a 1.1 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.5 million viewers overall.
NBC also ranked #1 for the week among the Big 4 in adults, men and women 25-54 and was #1 or tied for #1 in men and women 18-49 and adults and men 18-34.
Joining "Talent" and "Ninja" among the week's top 25 primetime programs on ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49 were Wednesday's season premiere of "Last Comic Standing" (tied for #8), Tuesday's "Hollywood Game Night" (#12), Wednesday's "Talent" encore (tied for #13), Monday's "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (tied for #16) and "Dateline Thursday Night Mystery" (tied for #18).
"America's Got Talent" ranked #1 among the week's primetime Big 4 telecasts in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 25-54, all key adult-male demos, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11 (tied with "Ninja"). "American Ninja Warrior" was #2 or tied for #2 in adults 18-49, men 18-49, men 25-54 and teens 12-17, while tying "Talent" for #1 in kids 2-11.

NBC highlights for the week of July 20-26:
Monday
NBC ranked #1 Monday night in adults 18-49, with the #1 show of the night, "American Ninja Warrior" (2.1/7 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) jumping +17% week to week (2.1 vs. 1.8) to equal the show's top rating in more than three years, since June 4, 2012 (2.2 with "Ninja's" third telecast as a regular series on the
NBC schedule). It was also the best "Ninja" in total viewers since June 29 (6.8 million). The 2.1 in 18-49 matched the highest rating for any Big 4 Monday telecast, excluding sports, since the end of the May sweep.
"Live Plus Three Day" Ratings: "American Ninja Warrior" grew by +10% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" Nielsens (from a 2.06 rating to a 2.26) and by 506,000 viewers overall (from 6.7 million to 7.2 million).
"Live Plus Seven Day" Ratings: "American Ninja Warrior" has grown by +18% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" ratings (from a 1.91 to a 2.26) and 905,000 viewers overall (6.5 million to 7.4 million).
"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the time period among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos. L+3: "Running Wild" increased by +14% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.10 to 1.29). In total viewers, "The Island" grew by 468,000 persons (from 3.3 million to 3.8 million).
Tuesday
NBC ranked #1 for the night among the Big 4 in every key measure, with "America's Got Talent" and "Hollywood Game Night" finishing as the #1-2 shows of the night in every key demo (including a tie for the #2 show in men 25-54).
NBC dominated six of six primetime half-hours among the Big 4 in adults 18-49.
"America's Got Talent" (2.3/9 in 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. "Talent" won the two-hour slot among those nets in every key category, generating a +156% margin in adult 18-49 rating (2.3 vs. 0.9 for CBS's second-place drama). L+3: "America's Got Talent" grew by +18% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (from a 2.30 rating to a 2.71) and by 1.4 million viewers overall (from 10.5 million to 11.9 million). L+7: Tuesday's "America's Got Talent" has grown by +31% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.43 to a 3.19) and 2.3 million viewers overall (10.7 million to 13.0 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"Hollywood Game Night" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) won the hour among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in all key demos, leading the time period among those nets by a +63% margin in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 0.8 for CBS's #2 "NCIS: New Orleans" encore). "HGN" ranked as the #2 show of the night in every key demo, behind only "Talent," including a tie for #2 among men 25-54. L+3: "HGN" grew by +12% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (from a 1.26 rating to a 1.42) and by 398,000 viewers overall (from 4.7 million to 5.1 million). L+7: "HGN" is increasing by +21% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.48 to a 1.79) and 782,000 viewers overall (5.2 million to 6.0 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
Wednesday
NBC won Wednesday night among ABC, CBS,

FOX in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
An "Best of Auditions" encore / recap of "America's Got Talent" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked a close #2 in the time period in total viewers (5.745 million vs. 5.797 million for CBS's "Big Brother") and matched the prior's week's 18-49 rating in the same time period (1.2 vs. 1.2).
The season premiere of "Last Comic Standing 9" (1.5/6 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) was the most-watched "Last Comic" episode since the fifth-cycle finale on Sept. 19, 2007 (7.1 million) and the most-watched "Last Comic" premiere since the fifth cycle debuted with 6.9 million viewers on Wednesday June 13, 2007. "Last Comic Standing" ranked #1 in the time period among the Big 4 networks in every key measure and was the #1 show of the night on those nets in total viewers. "Last Comic" grew +7% versus last summer's finale in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.4 from 9-11 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014) and was up +25% in total viewers (6.1 million vs. 4.9 million). "Dateline NBC" tied for the #1 rating of the night on the Big 4 in adults 25-54 (1.3) and was #1 outright for the night on those nets in women 25-54 (1.7).
