Last week's American Idol came with a surprise announcement that none of the final four contestants would be eliminated from the competition. In an interview posted on today's Billboard.com, Candace Glover, Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, and Kree Harrison spoke with the press about the unexpected twist as well as what's ahead for them in the competition.

Explained Holcomb of the surprise announcement, "We didn't hear anything but we all guessed it," said HolcomB. Miller added that she was taken aback by a last minute comment from Idol producer Nigel Lythogow. "Nigel came up to me and Kree and was like, 'So the band knows your save song right?" Harrison added that she was practicing her farewell song during the commercial break just in case. "We'll have to find a way to get [Nigel] back," she exclaimed.

Host Ryan Seacrest explained to viewers that the votes which came in last week would be added to this week's tally, a move which does not rest easy with Holcomb. "That makes it more on be because I was still in the bottom," she shared, but added that this week she plans to "kill, kill, kill" it with her performance.

The final four revealed that have already finalized theirs songs for Wednesday night and plan to step up the rehearsals and run through their songs "a million" times.
