Ryan Murphy has been fairly mum on the upcoming third season of his hit show American Horror Story on FX - but that all changed when the creator took the stage at this year's Paley Fest last night, according to TV Line.
The series creator revealed a multitude of things: including that the next installment in the series would be filmed, at least in part, in New Orleans, as well as that the season's subtitled would be COVEN.
The upcoming season will also feature witches, as well as multiple locales. "It's about a lot of things," Murphy said. "It's a really cool story that we've been talking about for a couple of years actually, and this seemed the year to do it."
It was also recently announced that the legendary actress, Kathy Bates, had signed a deal to appear on AHS: COVEN. Her character, as Murphy describes, is "a bad, bad woman...five times worse than [her] Misery character - which is why she liked it."

Jessica Lange, Frances Conroy, Lily Rabe, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Dylan McDermott are confirmed to be returning for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN. As BWW TV previously reported, Zachary Quinto will most likely not be apart of the next season.
As of now, a premiere date for AHS: COVEN has not been set by FX - but BWW TV will keep you updated as the latest outing of Murphy's frightfest shapes up.
