The premiere episode of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL, the Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) winning franchise from Ryan Murphy, delivered 12.17 million viewers on linear and non-linear platforms.
On a Live+3 basis, the premiere linear telecast of AHS: Hotel posted 6.13 million Adults 18-49 and 3.70 million Adults 18-34, ranking #5 and #3 respectively in those demos among all new and returning series premieres on television this fall (broadcast, basic and pay cable).
In addition, the premiere was the second most-watched telecast in
FX Networks history, behind only to the premiere episode of AHS: Freak Show, and it is possible that it will rank as the network's most-watched telecast ever when full data is tabulated in approximately 60 days.
The premiere telecast had a median age of 34.

· The AHS: Hotel premiere was #1 in the time period (10 PM-11:30 PM) among Adults 18-49 and #2 for the night behind FOX's
EMPIRE (Live+3).
· The premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel is also the #1 television series episode of the fall based on Twitter TV unique authors (302,639) and unique audience (5.4 million).
