According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ksenia Solo has joined the cast of AMC's TURN for its second season.

TURN is a layered, character-driven spy thriller that unravels the untold story of America's first spy ring. Set during the Revolutionary War, we are taken behind the battlefront to a shadow war fought by everyday heroes: men and women who defy king and family to create a new nation while vowing to keep their work a secret.

The LOST GIRL actress will take on the role of "Peggy Shippen, who hails from one of the richest families in the capital of Philadelphia who is well-versed in politics, foreign affairs and finance. Both an urban sophisticate and a homebody of sorts, she is devoted to her family, particularly to her father Edward, becoming his favorite despite being the youngest of four daughters. Peggy navigates the complications of the family's pro-British politics in the patriot capital. In doing so she demonstrates a quality uncommon for her background: sacrifice. Peggy heroically sacrifices her happiness for the cause she believes in and the man she loves and eventually marries: Benedict Arnold."

Based on the book "Washington's Spies," by Alexander Rose, "Turn" centers around Abraham Woodhull, a farmer living behind enemy lines in British-occupied Long Island. Abraham bands together with a group of childhood friends to form The Culper Ring: an unlikely team of secret agents who help George Washington turn the tide of the war in favor of the Rebels. Their daring efforts revolutionized the art of espionage, giving birth to modern spycraft in all its moral complexity.

From AMC Studios, "Turn" was developed and written by Craig Silverstein ("Nikita") who also serves as series showrunner. The pilot was directed by Rupert Wyatt (Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes). Barry Josephson ("Bones," Enchanted) from Josephson Entertainment is executive producer. The series stars Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, King Kong, The Adventures of Tintin) as Abraham Woodhull, Seth Numrich ("The Good Wife") as Ben Talmadge, Daniel Henshall (The Snowtown Murders) as Caleb, Heather Lind ("Boardwalk Empire") as Anna Strong, Meegan Warner as Mary Woodhull, Kevin McNally (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) as Judge Richard Woodhull, Burn Gorman (The Dark Knight Rises) as Major Hewlett, Angus MacFadyen (Braveheart) as Robert Rogers, JJ Feild (Captain America: The First Avenger) as Major John Andre and Samuel Roukin (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1) as Captain Simcoe.
