AMC's MAD MEN Finale Sets Series Ratings Record

Variety reports that the Series Finale of AMC's MAD MEN reached a series high in its target demographic of adults 25-54 (1.7 million viewers), up about 70% (from 1.02 million) week to week.

According to Nielsen estimates which include live viewing and same-night DVR playback, the finale episode was viewed by an average audience of 3.3 million, marking the show's third largest audience ever and approximately 1.43 million more than the previous week's total of 1.87 million.

The series set a ratings record high during the Season Five premiere in 2012, when 3.54 million tuned in following a 17-month break.
