ALL MY CHILDREN's Vincent Irizarry, who played Dr. David Hayward, has officially rejoined the cast of the long-running soap, which was recently revived for an online run by Prospect Park. Irizarry made the announcement via his official Facebook page today.

"Happy to share that I just signed on with Prospect Park for the "All My Children" reboot!" he posted. "Excited to bring dastardly Dr. David back to life, as he did for so many others, and to see my dear friends in Pine Valley once again. A great, big thank you to all the fans for your tenacity in keeping the hope alive. You're awesome!!! Let's all keep our fingers crossed together that it becomes a reality."

BWW TV World previously reported that Prospect Park has returned to its once-abandoned plans to bring cancelled daytime soap operas ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE online. The Production Company has reportedly signed a deal with both SAG-AFTRA and DGA to revive the soaps. Production is now set to begin in early 2013.

Following the shows' cancellations, Prospect Park entered negotiations with ABC in July 2011 to bring them online, which was set to launch in 2012. The negotiations with the guilds, however, went south, even though many of the soaps' original stars signed on to reprise their roles. The discussions were ultimately abandoned.

Deadline reports that Rich Frank and Jeff Kwatinetz of Prospect Park never gave up on the deal, though, and have been working since this summer to bring the revivals back to the table. It appears, as of today, that Frank and Kwatinetz were successful, and that ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE will, in fact, be revived.

The actors who had previously agreed to return will reportedly re-enter negotiations again within the coming months.

Prospect Park is a media and Production Company founded in 2009 by entertainment industry veterans Jeffrey Kwatinetz and former Disney Studios head Rich Frank. Along with successful film and music divisions, the company's television group has numerous shows in development and breakout network hits airing, including "Royal Pains" and "Wilfred."
