NBC Sports today announced that AJ Mleczko will serve as an analyst for its NHL game coverage on Tuesday, March 6, featuring the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins on NBCSN.

Mleczko, who was a member of the U.S. women's hockey team that won a gold medal in the inaugural Olympic tournament in 1998, is slated to call Red Wings-Bruins on NBCSN alongside Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Brian Boucher ('Inside-the-Glass' analyst).

A member of the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, Mleczko currently serves as an analyst for NBC Olympics' hockey coverage in PyeongChang, a role she has held dating back to the 2006 Torino Games. Mleczko also served as a field hockey analyst during the Rio Olympics in 2016.

"AJ has done a wonderful job as an analyst at the Olympics, both in PyeongChang and dating back to her work at the Torino Games more than a decade ago." said Sam Flood, Executive Producer and President, Production, NBC Sports. "She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the booth, and we're excited to have her team up with Chris and Brian in Boston."

During her international hockey career, Mleczko was a member of the U.S. women's hockey team that won a historic gold medal at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, and a silver medal at the Salt Lake Games in 2002. Mleczko competed in all six games during the women's inaugural hockey tournament in Nagano, contributing two goals and two assists on the way to Team USA's gold medal.
