A&E's BATES MOTEL to Wrap Season 2 with Live 'After Hours' Special Event

A&E Network premieres the season finale of the hit original series "Bates Motel" on Monday, May 5th at 10pm ET/PT immediately followed by the finale edition of "Bates Motel: After Hours," at 11pm ET/PT hosted by Dave Holmes.

Season two of "Bates Motel" further explores Norman's unraveling psyche and digs deeper into the Twisted world of the Bates family. New family members and seedy residents of the White Pine Bay including notable guest stars checked in throughout the season. In the season two finale premiering on May 5th at 10pm ET/PT, Norman (Freddie Highmore) is haunted by a tragic event in his past and Norma (Vera Farmiga) tries to save him from making a horrible mistake. Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and Dylan (Max Thieriot) find a way to bring closure to the drug war and Emma (Olivia Cooke) makes a decision about her future at Bates Motel.

Fans get first-hand look into the explosive season finale during "Bates Motel: After Hours", a live half-hour special event on May 5th at 11pm ET/PT. Stars Vera Farmiga (Norma Bates), Freddie Highmore (Norman Bates), Max Thieriot (Dylan Massett), Nestor Carbonell (Alex Romero), Olivia Cooke (Emma Decody) and executive producer Carlton Cuse will answer fan questions, share behind-the-scenes analysis and give insight into season two and what may be to come in season three. "Bates Motel: After Hours" will be broadcast in front of a live studio audience in New York.

The second season of "Bates Motel" is averaging 4.1 million total viewers, 2.2 million adults 25-54 and 2.4 million adults18-49 based on live +7 viewing.

"Bates Motel" is produced by Universal Television for A&E Network. Kerry Ehrin and Carlton Cuse serve as executive producers for Kerry Ehrin Productions and Carlton Cuse Productions respectively.

"Bates Motel: After Hours" is produced for A&E by Embassy Row. Michael Davies serves as executive producer.
