A&E's original real life series SHIPPING WARS following six independent shippers who have discovered the fortunes to be made transporting items that traditional carriers won't touch, is back in gear for season two. New back-to-back episodes premiere tonight, August 7 at 9 PM and 9:30 PM ET/PT.

Each episode of "Shipping Wars" dives into the cutthroat world of heavy-duty movers as they battle for the chance to transport the unshippable. The competition begins with uShip, the world's largest online marketplace for independent truckers. Every day, thousands of shipments are put up for auction. The battle is fierce as the movers have only minutes to bid, and the lowest bidder gets the load.

From oversized loads and bulky packages to the truly bizarre, these shippers will haul anything if the price is right. In this season, the movers tackle everything from giant crystals to Lego sculptures to a Ferris wheel to a Vietnam-era helicopter! The high-stakes race is on as they set out to deliver the loads in time, and any setback can cost big bucks.

From rookie haulers to seasoned veterans, no shipment is too big for these professionals to handle. Marc, Jarrett, Jennifer, Roy and his beloved cat Muffy are back on the road, along with new cast members Chris and Robbie. Chris is one of the industry's most unique shippers and while he's on the road, his girlfriend and business partner Robbie books loads and maps out routes while taking care of her son, Carter. Don't let their age fool you, this South Carolina couple juggles parenthood, running a successful business, and taking care of their golden retriever, Gix, who is a permanent passenger on the road.

"Shipping Wars" is produced by Megalomedia for A&E Network. Executive producer is Jonathan Nowzaradan. Co-executive producers are Tom Mireles, Jeff Keels and Graham Davidson. A&E executive producers are David McKillop, Elaine Frontain Bryant, Neil A. Cohen and Devon Graham.
