Cartoon Network's Adventure Time will take its place among the legends, flying down the storied route of the 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. On Thursday, November 28th, Finn and Jake, Adventure Time's resident stars, will take to the sky to awe millions of fans across the nation. Created by Pendleton Ward, Cartoon Network's Adventure Time brings the Epic tale of two unlikely heroes Finn, the human and his best friend Jake, the dog, to life as they embark on heart-pounding escapades all over the mystical Land of Ooo.
"Finn and Jake will take to the sky for the first time this November and we couldn't be more excited to have these irrepressible pop culture phenomenons join the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade family," said Amy Kule, executive Producer of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. "Adventure Time fans will be ecstatic to see Finn and Jake take a brand new shape and fly together as a giant character helium balloon in our world famous Parade." Designed by the artists of Macy's Parade Studio in collaboration with the Cartoon Network team, the brand new Finn and Jake balloon will be sure to delight more than 3.5 million spectators and more than 50 million television viewers nationwide.
The 87th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade airs nationwide on NBC-TV, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM in all time zones.
