"Uncle Buck" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.7 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49): Coming out of repeat comedies and building 43% on its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 9:00 p.m., "Uncle Buck" moved ABC up to second place in its hour to NBC's "America's Got Talent," doubling Fox's "Coupled" (1.0/4 vs. 0.5/2). The ABC comedy gained 10% in young adults from its first half-hour to its second half-hour. "Uncle Buck" built 17% from last week's premiere among Teens 12-17.

"Uncle Buck" greatly improved its hour from the year-ago night with original programming (1st hour of "Extreme Weight Loss" on 6/23/15 = 2.2 million and 0.7/2) by 68% in Total Viewers and by 43% in Adults 18-49.

"To Tell The Truth" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.4 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "To Tell The Truth" tied CBS' "Person of Interest" finale in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3) and came within 1-tenth of NBC's "America's Got Talent"-led "Maya & Marty" (1.1/4). The ABC game show built from its first half-hour to its second half-hour by 11% in Adults 18-49. Like its lead-in, "To Tell The Truth" was up from its week-ago premiere in the hour by 29% in Teens 12-17.

"To Tell The Truth" boosted its hour for ABC from the same night last year (2nd hour of "Extreme Weight Loss" on 6/23/15 = 2.4 million and 0.7/2) by 83% in Total Viewers and by 43% in Adults 18-49.

Projections Rationale: Lifts vs. L+SD are based on 2015-16 season averages for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate Nielsen measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
