ABC's "The View" averaged 3.002 million Total Viewers, 485,000 Women 25-54 and 337,000 Women 18-49, during the week of Feb. 19, 2018, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" beat CBS' "The Talk" (2.506 million, 397,000 and 268,000, respectively) during the week in Total Viewers (+496,000), Women 25-54 (+88,000) and Women 18-49 (+69,000).
"The View" substantially increased its lead over "The Talk" year to year in Total Viewers (+98% - 496,000 vs. 251,000), Women 25-54 (+28% - 88,000 vs. 69,000) and Women 18-49(+47% - 69,000 vs. 47,000).
"The View" was up over the prior week in Total Viewers (+4% - 3.002 million vs. 2.899 million).
For the 3rd straight week, "The View" improved on the same week last year in Total Viewers (+3% - 3.002 million vs. 2.917 million - w/o 2/20/17).
Season to date, "The View" is posting gains compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+1% - 2.962 million vs. 2.936 million), marking its most watched season in 3 years - since the 2014-15 season.
In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" across the board, increasing its advantages from the same point last season in Total Viewers (352,000 vs. 188,000), Women 25-54 (110,000 vs. 60,000) and Women 18-49 (72,000 vs. 68,000). In fact, "The View" is posting its largest season leads over the CBS program in Total Viewers and Women 25-54 in 5 years - since the 2012-13 season.
