ABC's "The View" averaged 2.590 million Total Viewers, 403,000 Women 25-54 and 295,000 Women 18-49 during the week of July 17, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "The View" beat CBS' "The Talk" (2.429 million, 398,000 and 267,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+161,000), Women 25-54 (+5,000) and Women 18-49 (+28,000).
Season to date, "The View" is posting gains compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+2% - 2.819 million vs. 2.760 million), marking its most watched season in 3 years - since the 2013-14 season. "The View" also stands as the only broadcast daytime show to grow its overall audience from last season.
In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+179,000 - 2.819 million vs. 2.640 million), Women 25-54 (+56,000 - 523,000 vs. 467,000) and Women 18-49 (+53,000 - 376,000 vs. 323,000), delivering its largest Women 25-54 advantage in 4 years - since the 2012-13 season.
NOTE: On Thursday (7/20/17), due to O.J. Simpson's parole hearing special report, "The View" was retitled to "View" and the telecast is excluded from the weekly averages. "The View"'s weekly averages are based on 4 days (Mon.-Wed. and Fri.).
