ABC's THIS WEEK Grows Week-to-Week in Total Viewers and Key Demo

"This Week with George Stephanopoulos" averaged 2.595 million Total Viewers and 748,000 Adults 25-54 for November 9, 2014, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "This Week" beat NBC's "Meet the Press" in both Total Viewers (+87,000) and Adults 25-54 (+64,000), drawing a larger news demo audience than the NBC program for the 5th time in 6 telecasts this season.

"This Week" was up week to week (2.490 million and 682,000 on 11/2/14) in Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 25-54 (+10%). "This Week" grew the most week to week in Adults 25-54 compared to CBS' "Face the Nation" (+5%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-10%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-23%).

"This Week" improved on its year-ago performance (688,000 on 11/10/13) in Adults 25-54 (+9%), standing as the only public affairs program to grow its news demo audience year to year as CBS' "Face the Nation" (-3%), NBC's "Meet the Press" (-15%) and Fox's "Fox News Sunday" (-10%) all posted losses.

Season to date, "This Week" is up in Adults 25-54 (+2%) versus the same point last season. Competitively, "This Week" leads NBC's "Meet the Press" this season by its largest Total Viewer (+165,000) advantage in 19 years and its biggest in Adults 25-54 (+121,000) in 21 years - since the 1995-96 and the 1993-94 seasons, respectively.
