ABC Monday Prime (8:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.9 million and 1.0/4 in AD18-49):

ABC took second place on Monday in Adults 18-49 (1.0/4). "Bachelor in Paradise" was Monday's No. 2 TV show in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5) while ranking No. 1 across the key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54).

"Bachelor in Paradise" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 5.2 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):

At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise" took second its hour in Total Viewers (5.2 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.5/5), and won the slot among Adults 18-34 and across all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). Coming off the prior week's Adult 18-49 series high, "Bachelor in Paradise" equaled the show's 2nd-highest number ever.

  • For the 3rd-straight week, "Bachelor in Paradise" topped its year-ago 2-hour Monday telecast (5.0 million and 1.3/4 on 9/1/14) with Total Viewers (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+15%).

"Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.8 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49):

From 9:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise" defeated Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" for the 3rd week in a row with Total Viewers (+36% - 3.8 million vs. 2.8 million) and beat the FOX show for the 2nd-straight week in Adults 18-49 (+25% - 1.0/3 vs. 0.8/3).

  • "After Paradise" held steady week to week at a series best in Adults 18-49.

"The Whispers" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.8 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):

In the 10 o'clock hour, the season finale of ABC's "The Whispers" was up for the 2nd week in Total Viewers (+4% - 2.8 million vs. 2.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+17% - 0.7/2 vs. 0.6/2) to deliver 4-week highs on both measures - since 8/3/15.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.

Projections Rationale:

Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2014-15 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere). Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals). New Series: Based on similar series.
