ABC's THE VIEW averaged 2.937 million Total Viewers, 523,000 Women 25-54 and 420,000 Women 18-49 during the week of October 31, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 4th straight week, "The View" outperformed CBS' "The Talk" (2.700 million, 477,000 and 338,000, respectively) across the board: Total Viewers (+237,000), Women 25-54 (+46,000) and Women 18-49 (+82,000).
"The View" saw increases from the previous week (2.870 million and 406,000, respectively, for w/o 10/24/16): Total Viewers (+2%) and Women 18-49 (+3%).
For the 4th week in a row, "The View" turned in year-to-year gains (2.579 million, 501,000 and 378,000, respectively, on w/o 11/2/15) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+14%), Women 25-54 (+4%) and Women 18-49 (+11%).
On Halloween Monday (10/31/16), "The View" improved on its year-ago Halloween telecast in Total Viewers (+15% - 3.046 million vs. 2.641 million on 10/30/15).
Season to date, "The View" is posting gains across the board compared to the same point last season: Total Viewers (+15% - 2.887 million vs. 2.509 million), Women 25-54 (+4% - 529,000 vs. 511,000) and Women 18-49 (+6% - 405,000 vs. 383,000).
In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+6% - 2.887 million vs. 2.723 million), Women 25-54 (+7% - 529,000 vs. 496,000) and Women 18-49 (14% - 405,000 vs. 354,000).
