ABC's THE VIEW Leads CBS' 'The Talk' in All Key Target Demos

ABC's THE VIEW averaged 2.649 million Total Viewers, 471,000 Women 25-54 and 311,000 Women 18-49 during the week of May 1, 2017, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. For the 2nd week in a row, "The View" led CBS' "The Talk" (2.506 million, 437,000 and 302,000, respectively) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+143,000), Women 25-54 (+34,000) and Women 18-49 (+9,000). "The View" improved over the previous week in Total Viewers (2.649 million vs. 2.626 million).

Season to date, "The View" is posting gains compared to the same point last season in Total Viewers (+4% - 2.879 million vs. 2.774 million), marking its most watched season in 3 years - since the 2013-14 season. In addition, "The View" stands as the only broadcast daytime show to grow its overall audience from last season.

In addition, "The View" leads CBS' "The Talk" in Total Viewers (+6% - 2.879 million vs. 2.708 million), Women 25-54 (+12% - 543,000 vs. 486,000) and Women 18-49 (+16% - 390,000 vs. 335,000).
