Moving to its new 8:00 p.m. time period (shifting back from 8:30 p.m.), "Fresh Off the Boat" returned to original for the first time in 2 months (since 12/8/15), spiking 33% in Total Viewers (5.2 million vs. 3.9 million) and 17% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/5 vs. 1.2/4) from its last first-run airing. The ABC sophomore comedy drew its biggest audience since its September season opener and matched its top young adult number since the start of November - since 9/22/15 and 11/3/15, respectively.

ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" took second in its slot and returned as Tuesday's No. 1 comedy in viewers and young adults, topping Fox's "New Girl" (3.0 million and 1.4/5) by 2.2 million viewers and tying in Adults 18-49.

"The Muppets" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 2.7 million and 0.8/3 in AD18-49): At 8:30 p.m. in its new time slot, ABC freshman "The Muppets" outdrew its comedy competition in the half-hour with Total Viewers (2.7 million vs. 2.6 million for Fox's "Grandfathered").

"Marvel's Agent Carter" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 2.8 million and 0.8/2 in AD18-49):
At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agent Carter" was steady week to week in Live + Same Day Adults 18-49 (0.8/2 vs. 0.9/3). The prior week's telecast surged 44% in Live + 3 Day to match the series' 3rd-largest-ever lift (0.9 rating to 1.3 rating).

"What Would You Do" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.3 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m. opposite increased competition on CBS week to week, ABC's "What Would You Do?" held even with its week-earlier season premiere among Adults 18-49 (0.7/2).

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience
