"The Muppets" (8:00-8:30 p.m. - 4.3 million and 1.4/5 in AD18-49) at 8:00 p.m. opposite the WORLD SERIES Game 1 (facing the start of the game in East/Central and the end in Pacific), ABC's "The Muppets" returned from the prior week's preemption up 8% in Adults 18-49 (1.4/5 vs. 1.3/5 on 10/13/15). The new ABC comedy was also up in Men 18-49 (+9%) and Women 18-49 (+7%) from its most recent broadcast. "The Muppets" was the No. 2 series in the slot in Adults 18-49 to CBS' "NCIS," beating NBC's "Best Time Ever" by 40% in the half-hour (1.0/3).

Including TV Playback (Most Current ratings through 5 weeks this season), "The Muppets" is averaging a strong 2.6/10 in Adults 18-49 with 7.6 million Total Viewers, improving its time period for ABC by 69% and 86%, respectively.

"Fresh Off the Boat" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 4.0 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
Holding 100% of its lead-in against the game at 8:30 p.m., ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" held even with its most recent telecast 2 weeks ago in Adults 18-49 (1.4/4). Despite facing the Fall Classic, the ABC comedy was up from its most recent telecast in Adults 25-54 (+13%) and Women 18-49 (+13%). Like its lead-in, "Fresh Off the Boat" was the No. 2 series in the half-hour in Adults 18-49 to "NCIS."

Season to date (Most Current), "Fresh Off the Boat" is doubling its half-hour for ABC in Adults 18-49 (+100% - 2.2/7 vs. 1.1/3).

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.8 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was steady week to week in Total Viewers (3.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.4/4 vs. 1.5/4). The ABC drama was up week to week in Women 18-34 (+13%) and grew for the 2nd consecutive week in Women 18-49 (+8%).

Live + 7 Day Season to Date: On average in L7 this season, "S.H.I.E.L.D." adds 1.2 rating points in Adults 18-49 (+71%), moving out of a Live +Same Day tie with time-slot competitor "NCIS: New Orleans" (1.7 rating each) to outdeliver the CBS drama by nearly half a rating point through 7 days of playback (+16% - 2.9 rating vs. 2.5 rating).

"Wicked City" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.3 million and 0.9/3 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m. against established drama competition on NBC ("Chicago Fire") and CBS ("Limitless") and the World Series, ABC's debut of "Wicked City" delivered 4-week highs in the time period with Total Viewers (3.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (0.9/3) - since 9/29/15. Despite declining viewing levels in the final hour of prime, the new ABC drama held steady throughout its premiere from its first to second half-hour across the Adult demos (AD18-34/AD18-49/AD25-54) and grew by 14% with Women 18-34 at 10:30 p.m.

"Wicked City" was ABC's most-social show on Tuesday (38,655 tweets) and No. 4 overall, behind only the World Series, "The Flash" and "The Voice."

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience
