The new ABC comedy was up week to week in Total Viewers (+5%) and held even with Adults 18-49, earning its most-watched telecast in 1 month - since 10/6/15. In addition, the show spiked week to week by 29% in Adults 18-34 and 38% in Women 18-34 to 4-week highs and shot up 120% in Kids 2-11 to match a best-since-premiere rating (since 9/22/15).
• "The Muppets" improved its half-hour by 56% from the year-ago night in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3 for "Selfie" on 11/4/14). Including TV Playback (Most Current ratings through 6 weeks this season), "The Muppets" is averaging 7.3 million viewers and a strong 2.6/9 in Adults 18-49, boosting its slot for
ABC by 55% and 73%, respectively.
"Fresh Off the Boat" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 4.4 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49):
Building on its lead-in at 8:30 p.m. (+7%), ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" took second in its half-hour and beat its
FOX comedy competition in the slot by a best-ever 88% in Adults 18-49 (1.5/5 vs. 0.8/3 for "The Grinder"). The
ABC sophomore comedy was up week to week in Total Viewers (+7% - 4 week-high) and also built over its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating (+7%), which adjusted up 1-tenth in the Nationals. In addition, the show gained over the prior week in Adults 18-34 (+25%), Men 18-49 (+8%), Women 18-49 (+6%), Teens 12-17 (+14%) and Kids 2-11 (+33%).
• "Fresh Off the Boat" grew its half-hour by 67% from the same night last year in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3 for "Selfie" on 11/4/14) and season to date (Most Current) is nearly doubling its slot for
ABC (+83% - 2.2/7 vs. 1.2/4).
"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.8 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." was steady week to week in Total Viewers (3.8 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.4/4). The
ABC drama won its hour with Men 18-49 and was up 7% week to week.
Live + 7 Day Season to Date: On average in L7 this season, "S.H.I.E.L.D." ranks as the No. 1 scripted show in the hour with a 2.7 Adult 18-49 rating, adding 1.1 rating points (+69%) to its L+SD number.
"Wicked City" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 2.4 million and 0.7/2 in AD18-49):
At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Wicked City" came within 2-tenths of its week-ago premiere in Adults 18-49 (0.7/2 vs. 0.9/3) and held 100% of its debut across all key Men demos (M18-34/M18-49/M25-54).
Live + 3 Day Ratings (10/27/15): Last week's debut of "Wicked City" gained 1.2 million viewers and surged 44% in Adults 18-49 from L+SD to L+3, drawing 4.5 million viewers on average and a 1.3 young adult rating.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience
