At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "The Muppets" took second in Adults 18-49 (1.3/5) to CBS' "NCIS," beating NBC's time-slot premiere of "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" by 18% in the half-hour (1.1/4) and Fox's "Grandfathered" by 30% (1.0/3). The new ABC comedy held 100% week to week in Adults 18-34, Men 18-34, Women 18-34 and Kids 2-11, ranking No. 1 in the slot with Kids.

"The Muppets" improved its half-hour by 30% year to year in Adults 18-49 (vs. 1.0/3 on 10/14/14).

"Fresh Off the Boat" (8:30-9:00 p.m. - 4.1 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
Building on its lead-in at 8:30 p.m., ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" took second in Adults 18-49 (1.4/4) to "NCIS," outdelivering the second half-hour of NBC's "Best Time Ever" by 17% (1.2/4) and Fox's "The Grinder" by 56% in Adults 18-49 (0.9/3). "Fresh Off the Boat" delivered 100% retention week to week in Men 18-34 and Women 18-34.

"Fresh Off the Boat" grew its half-hour by 56% year to year in Adults 18-49 (vs. 0.9/3 on 10/14/14).

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.7 million and 1.4/4 in AD18-49):
At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." once again ran in a virtual tie with CBS' "NCIS: New Orleans" in L+SD Adults 18-49 (1.4/4 vs. 1.5/4) and will move ahead once playback is included to rank as the No. 1 scripted show in the hour. The ABC drama led the hour (+40% over "The Voice") and grew for the 2nd week in Men 18-34 (+27%) to its highest rating in nearly 1 year - since 10/28/14.

Live + 3 Day: "S.H.I.E.L.D." was last Tuesday's No. 1 gainer in TV playback with a +0.9 rating point increase over L+SD to deliver a 2.5 Adult 18-49 rating in Live + 3 Day.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2014-15 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.
