ABC's "The Astronaut Wives Club" gained 5% over the prior week in Total Viewers (4.0 million vs. 3.8 million) and jumped 33% in Adults 18-49 (0.8/3 vs. 0.6/3), qualifying as the biggest week-to-week gainer on the major nets with young adults. During the 8 o'clock hour, the ABC freshman drama beat NBC's "Food Fighters" (3.6 million and 0.7/3) and Fox's "Boom!" (1.9 million and 0.6/3).

• Continuing to improve its time period for ABC, "The Astronaut Wives Club" was up over the year-ago debut of "The Quest" in the hour (2.8 million and 0.7/3 on 7/31/14) by 1.2 million viewers and by 14% in Adults 18-49

"Mistresses" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.1 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

At 9:00 p.m., ABC's "Mistresses" built 7% week to week in Total Viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.9 million) and held even in Adults 18-49 (0.7/3).

"Rookie Blue" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 3.6 million and 0.7/3 in AD18-49):

At 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Rookie Blue" came within 1-tenth of its week-ago season high in Adults 18-49 (0.7/3 vs. 0.8/3).
