ABC's Grey's Is Up Week to Week/Scandal Is the Fastest Growing Returning Series

ABC earned second place on Thursday night in Adults 18-49 (2.1/6), leading NBC by 11% (1.9/5 - with The Voice leading off the night) and FOX by 50% (1.4/4 with X Factor/Glee). On average, ABC's Thursday night delivery is up year to year with young adults (+3%).

In Adults 18-49, ABC's Grey's (2.7/7) and Scandal (2.7/8) tied as the #2 TV shows of the night (w/The Millers and The Voice) and ranked as Thursday's top-rated dramas.

Tripling its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 9pm (+200%), ABC's Grey's Anatomy won its hour by wide margins and was up 4% week to week. Grey's also posted a 15% week-to-week increase in Adults 18-34.

Ranking #1 during the 10 o'clock hour among Adults 18-49, ABC's Scandal (3.0/8) dominated CBS' Elementary by 59% (1.7/5) and NBC's Parenthood by 80% (1.5/4).

Scandal (8.6 million and 2.7/8) was up by wide margins over its telecast on the same night last year (6.1 million and 1.9/5 on 11/8/12). On average, Scandal is TV's fastest-growing returning series this season, up over its performance through the same point last year by 41% in Total Viewers and by 54% in Adults 18-49 to its best numbers ever. In fact, Scandal is ABC's strongest program in the Thursday 10pm hour since Lost during the 2007-08 season.
