ABC Sunday Prime (7-11pm - 7.1 million and 1.9/5 in AD18-49): Opposite
CBS with a high-rated NCAA Basketball Tournament
Primetime overrun into the 7pm hour,
ABC (1.9/5) finished a strong second on Sunday in Adults 18-49, beating
FOX by 12% (1.7/5) and
NBC by 90% (1.0/3). For the 3rd straight week, ABC's Resurrection was Sunday's #1 regular broadcast program in Adults 18-49 (2.5/6).
America's Funniest Home Videos (7-8pm - 6.7 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): Taking second to CBS' NCAA Basketball/60 Minutes in the 7pm hour, ABC's
America's Funniest Home Videos (1.3/4) tied Fox's original animated comedies in Adults 18-49 (Bob's Burgers/American Dad). AFHV was up 5% week to week in Total Viewers.
Once Upon A Time (8-9pm - 6.6 million and 2.0/6 in AD18-49): Jumping over its lead-in at 8pm (+54%) to beat CBS' NCAA Basketball-driven programming (60 Minutes/Amazing Race = 1.9/5), ABC's
Once Upon a Time (2.0/6) finished No. 1 in its hour for the 3rd week in a row among Adults 18-49 (tied w/Fox), beating NBC's series debut of
American Dream Builders by 122% (0.9/2). The
ABC drama was the #1 most social series on broadcast Sunday night with 47,658 tweets.
Resurrection (9-10pm - 9.2 million and 2.5/6 in AD18-49): Building on its lead-in by 25% at 9pm in Adults 18-49, ABC's Resurrection (2.5/6) once again more than doubled NBC's Believe (+108% - 1.2/3) in the hour, while leading by 47% over programming on both
CBS (Amazing Race/Good Wife - 1.7/4) and
FOX (Cosmos - 1.7/4). Resurrection improved its hour year to year by 46% in Total Viewers and by 39% in Adults 18-49.
Based on Nielsen's Live + 7 Day TV playback data released this morning, ABC's Sunday 3/9/14 debut of Resurrection saw its Total Viewer count surge by 4.1 million, building from 13.9 million viewers in Live + Same Day to 18.0 million in Live + 7 Days. The
ABC drama debut also saw its Adult 18-49 number jump from a 3.8/10 in L+SD to a 5.3/14 in L+7.
Revenge (10-11pm - 5.7 million and 1.6/4 in AD18-49): During the 10pm hour, ABC's
Revenge was the #1 drama in its slot for the 3rd straight week among Adults 18-49 (1.6/4), beating NBC's
Crisis by an even wider margin of 23% (1.3/3) and leading CBS' combo of The Good Wife/The Mentalist by 23% (1.3/3).
Revenge improved its hour year to year by 33% in Adults 18-49, over original drama programming on the same night last year.
