Opposite NFL-fueled competition from SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL on NBC, an NFL overrun-boosted CBS and FOX with regional NFL overruns, ABC was up week to week on Sunday in Total Viewers (+7% - 4.6 million vs. 4.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (+9% - 1.2/3 vs. 1.1/3).

"America's Funniest Home Videos" (7:00-8:00 p.m. - 5.6 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): at 7:00 p.m., "America's Funniest Home Videos" rose 12% week to week in Total Viewers (5.6 million vs. 5.0 million) to a new season high. The show held steady with the previous week in Adults 18-49.

"Once Upon a Time" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 4.8 million and 1.5/4 in AD18-49): Building 50% over its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 8:00 p.m. against SNF and CBS' NFL-inflated programming, ABC's "Once Upon a Time" beat its FOX competition in the slot by 15% (1.5/4 vs. 1.3/4 for "The Simpsons"/"Brooklyn 9-9"). "Once Upon a Time" remained steady week to week in Total Viewers and Adults 18-49, while spiking 17% with Adults 18-34 to a best-since-premiere rating - since 9/27/15.

"Blood & Oil" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 3.4 million and 0.8/2 in AD18-49):
At 9:00 p.m., "Blood & Oil" outdrew its FOX competition in the hour by 31% in Total Viewers (3.4 million vs. 2.6 million for "Family Guy"/"Last Man on Earth") and was up 3% week to week. In addition, the new ABC drama held even in Adults 18-49 and grew over the prior week by 20% with Adults 18-34.

"Quantico" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 4.4 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49):
Jumping 63% over its lead-in at 10:00 p.m., ABC's "Quantico" defeated its CBS drama competition in the hour by 44% with Adults 18-49 (1.3/4 vs. 0.9/3 for "The Good Wife"/"CSI: Cyber"). The new ABC drama was up week to week in Total Viewers (+10%), Adults 18-49 (+8%) and Adults 18-34 (+22%).

Live + 3 Day for Last Week's Telecast (11/01/15): Last week's telecast of "Quantico" became the season's first program on the major networks to more than double its L+SD Adult 18-49 rating, while also delivering the biggest percentage increase for any single telecast on any major net this season. The sixth episode of "Quantico" skyrocketed +117% among Adults 18-49 (the show's best yet) after just 3 days of TV playback to earn a 2.6 rating. In addition, "Quantico" scored the season's largest percentage build for any broadcast program so far this season in Total Viewers with a +92% increase over its L+SD tally.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 48% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.

Projections Rationale:
Lifts vs. L+SD are based on 2015-16 season averages for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.
