ABC Sunday Prime (7:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.9 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): Featuring its Sunday Fun & Games block, ABC ranked No. 1 on Sunday night for the 3rd week in a row in Total Viewers (5.9 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 - tied w/CBS). ABC beat FOX with the "2016 Teen Choice Awards" during prime (1.6 million and 0.5/2) by 4.3 million viewers and by 120% in Adults 18-49.
"Celebrity Family Feud" (8:00-9:00 p.m. - 7.2 million and 1.4/6 in AD18-49): At 8:00 p.m., ABC's "Celebrity Family Feud" stood as the most watched TV show in its hour for the 6th straight week against CBS' "Big Brother" (7.2 million-tie). "CFF" held even with its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating (1.4/6), which adjusted up 1-tenth in the Nationals.
"The $100,000 Pyramid" (9:00-10:00 p.m. - 6.5 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49): The summer's No. 1 new show, ABC's "The $100,000 Pyramid" won the 9 o'clock hour for the 3rd week running with Total Viewers (6.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.2/4).
"Match Game" (10:00-11:00 p.m. - 5.4 million and 1.1/4 in AD18-49): At 10 o'clock, ABC's "Match Game" took first place in the hour for the 3rd consecutive week with Total Viewers (5.4 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.1/4), more than doubling CBS' "BrainDead" with young adults (2.9 million and 0.5/2). "Match Game" was even with the prior week's Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 rating (1.1/4), which adjusted up 1-tenth in the National ratings.
A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
