During the week of November 9, 2015, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" edged out CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in Total Viewers (2.399 million vs. 2.381 million) and Adults 18-49 (710,000 vs. 706,000). Despite airing a repeat telecast on Friday, "Kimmel" won over "Colbert" with 5 original telecasts for the 2nd-straight week to rank as the No. 2 late-night talk show on both Nielsen measures.
"Kimmel" outdelivered "Colbert" on 3 of its 4 original telecasts of the week in Total Viewers (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) and Adults 18-49 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
"Nightline" (M-F 12:35 a.m.)
ABC's "Nightline" ranked No. 1 in its 12:35 a.m. slot in Total Viewers (1.544 million) for the 4th consecutive week during the week of November 9, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.155 million) by 389,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.493 million) by 51,000.
"Nightline" also beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in both Adults 25-54 (+129,000 - 608,000 vs. 479,000) and Adults 18-49 (+55,000 - 465,000 vs. 410,000).
"Nightline" owned the Top 3 12:35 a.m. telecasts of the week with its Thursday (1.683 million - 11/12/15), Monday (1.675 million - 11/9/15) and Friday (1.668 million - 11/13/15) airings, ahead of every telecast of the week of CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
