On Thursday, September 25, 2014, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ranked as Thursday's No. 1 talk show in late-night in Households (3.0/8) in the 56 Metered Markets and Adults 18-49 (1.2/6) in the 25 LPM Markets, beating NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" (2.5/7 and 0.9/4) and CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" (2.7/8 and 0.9/5) in both Nielsen measures.
Thursday's telecast marked "Jimmy Kimmel Live's" highest-rated on any night in late-night in more than 5 months in both Homes and Adults 18-49 (tie) - since "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Behind the Scandalabra" (on 4/17/14).
"Kimmel" ranked No. 1 in its time slot in both HH and Adults 18-49 in 2 of the Top 3 U.S. Markets: Los Angeles (2.7/10 and 0.7/6) and Chicago (5.3/12 and 2.3/9).
In Jimmy Fallon's home market of New York, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" dominated the
NBC late-night program by 94% in Households (3.5/8 vs. 1.8/4) and by 38% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/5 vs. 0.8/4). In fact, "Kimmel" beat "Fallon" in New York in Households for the 2nd consecutive day: Wednesday (2.4/6 vs. 2.3/6) and Thursday (3.5/8 vs. 1.8/6).
