During the week of September 11, 2017, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" grew over the prior week by 11% in Total Viewers (2.172 million vs. 1.955 million) to draw its biggest overall audience in more than 3 months - since the week of 6/5/17. In fact, excluding this year's NBA Finals-led weeks, "Kimmel" attracted its largest weekly audience of the summer.
On Wednesday (9/13/17), "Kimmel" was the most watched late-night talk show, outdrawing NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" by 8% (2.384 million vs. 2.211 million). Excluding one NBA Finals-led broadcast in June, "Kimmel" delivered its strongest Wednesday telecast since January - since 1/25/17. Wednesday's show featured former White House press secretary Sean Spicer and 2017 U.S. Open winner Sloane Stephens.
On Thursday (9/14/17), ABC's "Kimmel" ranked as the No. 1 late-night talk show in Total Viewers (2.513 million) and Adults 18-49 (681,000), topping NBC's "Fallon" in both Nielsen measures (2.352 million and 660,000, respectively). Excluding June's
NBA FINALS led-telecasts, Thursday's broadcast was "Kimmel"'s most watched telecast on any night in late-night in 6 months - since Monday, 3/13/17. Thursday's show welcomed Stephen Colbert and Nina Dobrev and musical guest Dustin Lynch.
