ABC's JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE Builds to 4-Week High in Adults 18-49

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of May 9, 2016, ABC grew week to week by 7% in Adults 18-49 (542,000 vs. 505,000) to deliver its best performance in late-night in 4 weeks - since the week of 4/11/16.

ABC grew its overall late-night audience over the prior week (+3% - 1.886 million on w/o 5/2/16) and the year-ago week (+8% - 1.800 million on w/o 5/11/15).

ABC ranked as the week's No. 2 network in late-night in Total Viewers (1.949 million) and Adults 18-49 (542,000), topping CBS (1.803 million and 489,000, respectively) by 8% and 11%, respectively.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" (M-F, 11:35 p.m.)
During the week of May 9, 2016, ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" grew to a 4-week high among Adults 18-49 - since the week of 4/11/16 - up over the prior week by 7% (614,000 vs. 572,000). "Kimmel" also built week to week by 4% in Total Viewers (2.207 million vs. 2.122 million).

• "Kimmel" topped CBS' "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in Adults 18-49 (+2% - 614,000 vs. 601,000), marking the ABC late-night program's 3rd win in 5 weeks over "Colbert."

• ABC's "Kimmel" ranked as the week's No. 2 late-night talk show with Adults 18-49 (614,000), behind only NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" (3.306 million).

"Nightline" (M-F, 12:35 a.m.)
ABC's "Nightline" averaged 1.440 million Total Viewers, 524,000 Adults 25-54 and 400,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of May 9, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.233 million, 508,000 and 390,000) across the board: Total Viewers (+207,000), Adults 25-54 (+10,000) and Adults 18-49 (+16,000).

"Nightline" turned in week-to-week gains (1.426 million, 512,000 and 376,000, respectively, on w/o 5/2/16) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+1%), Adults 25-54 (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+6%).

"Nightline" improved on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+4% - 1.440 million vs. 1.380 million on w/o 5/11/15).
