"GMA" outdelivered NBC's "Today" (4.696 million) by 265,000, increasing its margin of victory from the previous week (+22%; vs. 218,000 for w/o 4/18/16) to its largest in 8 weeks - since w/o 2/29/16.
"GMA" posted across-the-board gains on the previous week (4.899 million, 1.640 million and 1.190 million, respectively, for w/o 4/18/16): Total Viewers (+1%), Adults 25-54 (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%), hitting 7-week highs in all three measures - since w/o 3/7/16. Further, "GMA" has built on its overall viewer performance for the 6th straight week.
Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, beating "Today" by 238,000 (4.952 million vs. 4.714 million), taking the top spot at this point of the season for the 4th consecutive year.
During the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+30%/+1.136 million), Adults 25-54 (+46%/+528,000) and Adults 18-49 (+48%/+400,000).
