Leading in both measures for the 5th week in a row, "GMA" outdelivered "Today" (4.281 million and 1.607 million, respectively) by 401,000 Total Viewers and by 37,000 Adults 25-54.
"GMA" turned in week-to-week increases (1.588 million and 1.083 million on w/o 8/17/15) in Adults 25-54 (+4%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%), posting a 10-week high in the key adult news demo - since w/o 6/15/15. In fact, "GMA" was up the most from the previous week in Adults 25-54 compared to "CBS This Morning" (-1%) and "Today" (+2%).
Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading "Today" by 546,000 Total Viewers and by 103,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" is ranking No. 1 for the 3rd straight season in both Total Viewers and Adults 25-54.
During the week, "GMA" led "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+45%/ +1.443 million), Adults 25-54 (+74%/+699,000) and Adults 18-49 (+62%/ +424,000).
