ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA Is No. 1 in Total Viewers for Week of 9/5

ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (4.477 million) for the week of September 5, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led NBC's "Today" (4.408 million) by 69,000.

For the 4th week in a row, "GMA" was up over the previous week (w/o 8/29/16) in Adults 25-54 (1.477 million vs. 1.475 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.076 million vs. 1.044 million) to hit 12-week highs - since w/o 6/13/16.

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, beating "Today" by 148,000 (4.744 million vs. 4.596 million), taking the top spot at this point of the season for the 4th consecutive year.

During the week, "GMA" led "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+36%/+1.189 million), Adults 25-54 (+47%/+472,000) and Adults 18-49 (+50%/+359,000).

NOTE: Due to the Labor Day Holiday (9/5/16), "Good Morning America,""CBS This Morning" and "Today" telecasts were coded as specials and are excluded from the weekly averages.
