ABC News' "Good Morning America" ranked No. 1 in the morning in Total Viewers (4.564 million) for the week of October 31, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led "Today" (4.379 million) by 185,000.
For the 2nd week in a row, "GMA" was up from the previous week (4.476 million and 1.082 million, respectively, for w/o 10/24/16) in Total Viewers (+2%) and Adults 18-49 (+5%). "GMA" saw a 4-week high in Total Viewers and a 20-week best in Adults 18-49 - since weeks of 10/3/16 and 6/13/16, respectively.
Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, leading "Today" by 167,000 (4.519 million vs. 4.352 million) to take the top spot at this point of the season for the 5th year in a row.
During the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+31%/+1.082 million), Adults 25-54 (+46%/+477,000) and Adults 18-49 (+55%/+403,000).
