"GMA" beat NBC's "Today" (4.740 million and 1.728 million, respectively) by 413,000 Total Viewers and by 133,000 Adults 25-54.
"GMA" increased its Adults 25-54 advantage over "Today" week to week by +3% (133,000 vs. 129,000). Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading "Today" by 612,000 Total Viewers and by 150,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has increased its season margins over "Today" versus the same point last season in both Total Viewers (+1% - 612,000 vs. 606,000) and Adults 25-54 (+56% - 150,000 vs. 96,000). Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, "GMA" is seeing its widest Total Viewer margin over "Today" in more than 23 years and biggest in Adults 25-54 in 23 years -since at least the 1991-92 season and the 1991-92 season, respectively (Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991).
