ABC's “GMA” is #1 for Premiere Week

ABC News' "Good Morning America" opened the 2013-14 season as the morning's No. 1 news program in Total Viewers (5.547 million) and Adults 25-54 (2.067 million) for the week of September 23, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research. Leading week 1 of the season for the 2nd straight year, "GMA" saw its first back-to-back premiere week victory in 21 years in Total Viewers and in more than 2 decades in Adults 25-54 - since the 1991-92/1992-93 seasons and before the 1991-92 season, respectively; Nielsen's electronic database started on September of 1991. Additionally, GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo! reached 21 million users last month. It is the No. 1 morning news website and beats Today.com by millions of users each month.
"GMA" outdelivered NBC's "Today" (4.752 million and 2.011 million, respectively) by +795,000 Total Viewers and by +56,000 Adults 25-54.
