ABC's 'GMA' Is No. 1 in Total Viewers for Week of May 9

ABC News' "Good Morning America" stood as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers (4.859 million) for the week of May 9, 2016, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "GMA" led NBC's "Today" (4.717 million) by 142,000.

Additionally, "Good Morning America" held the Top 2 telecasts of the week in Total Viewers with its Monday (5.022 million on 5/9/16) and Tuesday (4.938 million and 5/10/16) airings, respectively, outdrawing every telecast of the week of "CBS This Morning" and NBC's "Today."

Season to date, "GMA" stands as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers, beating "Today" by 233,000 (4.949 million vs. 4.716 million), taking the top spot at this point of the season for the 4th consecutive year.

During the week, "GMA" beat "CBS This Morning" in Total Viewers (+28%/+1.074 million), Adults 25-54 (+45%/+491,000) and Adults 18-49 (+51%/+403,000).
